Scott Moran, PGA, Head Golf Professional

A graduate of Tennessee Tech University with a bachelor’s degree in business marketing, Scott joined us as Head Golf Professional in May 2007.  Scott was formerly employed at Cherokee Country Club in Knoxville, where he served as assistant golf professional, pro shop manager, and tournament operations manager. Scott was named Tennessee Tech’s Most Valuable Player twice, and he was Champion of the 2003 Millstone Pro-Am (professional division) and the 2006 Callaway Open.  He has also received numerous accolades as a golf business professional, including being named the 2005 Knoxville Chapter PGA Assistant Professional of the Year and the 2008 Merchandiser of the Year for Private Clubs by the Knoxville PGA Chapter.

 

Danny Ackermann, PGA, First Assistant Golf Professional

Danny previously worked in Central Illinois where he was a Golf Professional at three different private clubs during the past eight years. Most recently, Danny was the 1st Assistant Professional at Mt. Hawley Country Club in Peoria, IL for four seasons. Danny played two seasons at Illinois Central College. His accomplishments there included two individual medalists and All-Conference honors for both seasons. He completed a degree in Business Marketing at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL in 2005 and completed the PGA/PGM program and received his PGA membership in 2012. Danny received the 2015 Assistant Golf Professional Assistant Golf Professional of the Year for the Tennessee PGA Section.Danny credits his passion for the game and enjoyment of working with others as the key factors of his being a Golf Professional. 



 

Tyler Bailey, Second Assistant Golf Professional

Tyler Bailey is originally from Tullahoma, TN. He previously worked as an Assistant Professional at Henry Horton State Park Golf Course in Chapel Hill, TN before joining the Fox Den Staff in August of 2013. Throughout his career, Tyler has been very involved in Junior Golf; highlighted with his vast experience with the Coffee Country Junior Golf Association and working with Barry Bishop at Willow Brook Golf Club. Tyler had a very successful playing career as a junior and is currently Level 2 in the PGA Professional Golf Management Program. He is currently working his way towards becoming a full PGA member.
