Christine "Chris" Zemel, Assistant Fitness Director & Personal TrainerChris worked as a part of the nursing staff in several psychiatric hospitals in Connecticut and New Jersey from 1973 to 1882. It was during her own experiences with weight training that the many physical and psychological benefits of fitness training became apparent, leading to her involvement as a fitness professional. She is a Personal Trainer, ACE Health Coach (focusing on physical activity, behavior change and nutrition coaching for long term health improvements) and certified by the Tai Chi for Health Institute to teach 5 forms of Tai Chi. Chris’ goal is to help every member find a fitness program they enjoy to facilitate a healthy, active lifestyle.
Daryl Shute, Personal TrainerDaryl Shute is a 25 year veteran of the Fitness and Sports Performance Industry. Whether leadership, sales or education, his career has spanned many areas. He holds undergraduate and gradate degrees in Exercise Physiology and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist from the NSCA. Daryl enjoys teaching and presenting at many fitness conferences throughout the U.S. and loves to share his knowledge locally as an instructor and personal trainer.
